The daughter of a young mother who chose life and a father who chose to make her his own, Erica learned early that love is more than a feeling — it's a choice, a sacrifice, and one of God's greatest blessings.
What felt like the end of her plans became the beginning of a deeper understanding of God's faithfulness.
Years later, an unexpected pregnancy of her own became the beginning of a deeper understanding of redemption. For more than twenty years, she and her husband Joshua — a Purple Heart combat veteran — have navigated military life, combat injuries, recovery, parenting, and the everyday challenges of marriage and family, learning to cling to God's promises and laugh often.
A proud Virginian and American, Erica also serves her community as an elected school board member who is passionate about children and encouraging them to hone in on their God given talents on their unique path to success.
Whether speaking about faith, motherhood, marriage, or overcoming adversity, Erica's message stays the same: God is faithful, even in the chapters we never would have chosen.
